Thank you for everything. Our friendship, the years of fun, laughter, joy & definitely craziness, HA. Really, the most retarded times with you... really priceless. From our childishness with ice-cream sticks & cooking/paper money & whatever crazy stuff we used to do in Pri.4, will never be forgotten. I'm glad we ended up in BHSS together. Woohoo, go ahbeng school! We learnt a lot! And although sometimes, we might fight & disagree with each other (we're the only ones who would anyway - the stubborn ones), you know I still love you. In years to come, we might go overseas to study, join SIA together, & eventually open our own shop someday. Ha! :) Ah, I know you like long long shoutouts/testimonials so I'm like trying my best. You would never be able to write this amount for a shoutout now would you? HA. Okay, so ya, no matter what, I'm sure the four of us will overcome anything. Last but not least, thanks for making my 18th a blast! Woohoo, nine years bestfriendship! :)

You always know how to make me feel better. And I love you for that. I love you for just being you. And for everything you've done for me, as a friend. Since Sec One till now. We've only become closer & closer as the years go by. And it will continue to, until we grow very very old. HA. The four of us. Aging, married, with kids & dogs too (random). I believe you can make it in whatever you do, be it modeling or stewardess! :) Your sweet pleasant smile will attract a lot of people, don't worry. HA. Thank you babe, for listening to all my problems, for helping me time & time again. Kong Kong, I miss you.

Last night, was the first time I cried after the funeral. Sleepless night got me thinking about my grandfather. He was more than a grandparent. He was a father to me. & I miss him. So so much. It hurts when I think about the times we spent together. I laugh & remember the happy times, yet feel all sad & emotional to remember he's already gone. How can you ever stop thinking of someone who had lived with you for 18 years. I did not see him once a year, or only on CNY, no, not that kind. He was with me, everyday, living with me under the same roof. We were more than just close. We were real. Real family.

The past week was spent keeping myself as preoccupied as possible. Plans for birthday which I did not want initially. But I had to keep my mind off you, & I knew you only wanted me to be happy. 18th was good. I'm old now. I smell independence coming my way. Responsibility too. I will make you proud kong, just like I always hoped I would. I remember telling you during the Adam Khoo workshop; that my wish was to get good grades for Os & make you proud. I knew I had to, no matter what. You kept me going. And it paid off.

But I miss you. I do, I really do. I just want to come home from school & see your smile again. Even if it means not talking to you. Just to see you lie on your bed would be enough to make me happy. But no, I can't be that selfish to want you back here. Why let you suffer when you can lead a life of happiness up there, with God. You have everything there, hundred times better than the riches of this world. Ha, you're probably in the biggest & most royal casino in Heaven (they do have casinos in Heaven, don't they?), enjoying yourself, with zero worries & never-ending money for you to spend! :)

Or maybe you're watching a Man Utd match on your Gold plated, no, Gold (it doesn't have to be plated) 1000" Plasma Tv, in your gold decorated living room. You're a person of class & style. A very colourful character according to everyone. So I can just imagine what kind of house you have! Just remember to save a room for me. I will see you again one day.

I miss soccer matches with you. You're the one who got me hooked on soccer.
I miss running into your room, jumping into your bed, & just staring at you while you sleep & make funny noises/snores.
I miss your super excited face whenever you admire your watches, Rolex in particular. It was so funny how you had to constantly look at your watch in the hospital, just to make you feel better. You are such a cute person!
I miss how you always talk about getting a Ferrari (or any other sports car for that matter) so you could drive me around. I miss how you always liked your things Gold. & that you insisted on getting the D&G Motorola phone although you don't have a clue how it works, all cause it was gold in colour. You even wanted Chasing Cars as your ringtone because Jon Leong sang it on SG Idol, & you liked him. Ha.
I miss how you would always answer the phone when I call, shout across the hall saying, "ay, the small girl wants you"
I miss the fact that although you constantly remind me of what a big girl I am, I was always a little girl in your eyes. YOUR little girl.
I even miss your stubborn-ess; how you always wanted things to be done your way. I even miss your quarrels with Por. So adorable. Your face every time... classic!

& needless to say, I miss breakfast, lunches, dinners, movies, after-dinner strolls, holiday-ing & cruising with you.

I'm sorry for the times I made you angry or sad, for the times I wasn't home in time to have dinner with you, for the times I lost my temper when I should have been more patient with you, for the times I took you for granted, for the times I lied to you & took advantage of your complete trust in me, for the times I chose to listen to other people instead & did not take your advices seriously. I'm sorry for the times I wasn't a good & responsible granddaughter.

But despite all that, you know I still love you.
I miss you, & a million times more. With lots of love.
